History

Carl's Jr. is owned by a bigger company known as CKE restaurants. CKE owns both Hardees and Carl's Jr. There is a huge competition between fast-food restaurants and Carl's Jr. was has a hard time keeping up with other major chains like McDonald's. Both restaurants had major discount wars and job losses during this time. Cral's Jr. also reported a slight drop in stock price. Due to this, Carl's Jr. revamped there add campaign and created the well-known commercials that we have today. Before their infamous ad campaign started in 2005 Carl's Jr.'s ads looked something like this. They were bland and were attracting very much attention to the brand and the company.
