“Those ads aren't going after women, they're going after men. They are not afraid of the controversy. The more controversy the better.”
"disrespectful and distasteful.”
"They get more clicks on YouTube, they get more social media. It's a win-win for them. I don't think they care one way or the other what women think about these ads,”
"objectifying, insulting, misogynistic"
"degarding and horrible"

These are only a few of the reactions from so many outraged people. While Carl's Jr was able to sell more burgers by objectifying women, they are prepetuating the issue of regarding women and turning them into objects. Carl's Jr even said in a press release in 2011 that, “We believe in putting hot models in our commercials, because ugly ones don’t sell burgers”. They are perpetuating the image that you can use sex to sell anything including burgers. By including half naked models into their ads Carl's Jr. is hurting the future of women by showing young girls that in order to be incredibly successful you have to look this certain way. Carl's Jr has kept up this idea that they can disregard and demean women in order to make a profit. They have shown again and again that they care very little for the feelings and hope of those affected by there objectifying ad campaign.
